Dear Folks,

Roger Pierce and Diann Dmitri have been kind enough over the years to hold a variety of volunteer and organizational meetings at their house, but we are trying to spread out the work a little.

So, we need the following:

1. A permanent location where, four times a year (we've changed our news operation as of last night's Board meeting--more on that later), we can meet at your house for about two hours to fold envelopes.  You don't need to provide food or beverage or anything like that.  The location needs to be somewhere along the University Avenue/Newberry Road corridor, no further than a mile off those roads either way.  This is entirely to serve my transportation needs, and it is where most of our members/volunteers live.

2.  A regular group of people we can call upon when the time comes to fold newspapers.  If you already contacted me during the last folding, I have your name in this regard.   We only actually need three people to do the work, and I'm assuming the person whose house we are at will help, but I like having a pool to draw on.  We have a rather large volunteer list in the database, but I get better response from this list.

3.  Someone with a motor vehicle who can take the newsletters to the post office the next day.  I'll go the first few times and help you.  We have a plush acct with USPS, so you wouldn't need to pay for anything and get reimbursed.  This is part of the equation that is difficult for me as I have no car.

Thanks in Advance for your Response,

James Thompson
