I would like to stress and hone Ryan's below instructions, specifically for those of you who have been riding for less than a year.  If you have less than 1 year of group riding under your belt, please sit on the back.  Please don't mix in with the group ahead of the half-way point.  Watch and learn.  Pay attention to the more experienced riders at or near the front.  Watch us communicate with each other, hold our lines, and not make any sudden moves.

Please ensure your safety and the safety of the group.

If you would like more specific instruction, please do not hesitate to ask me or any of the other more experienced riders.  Thank you.

It's that time of year!  Time changes tonight which means that Gainesville's fastest group ride begins this coming Tuesday leaving from the Hippodrome State Theater downtown at 6pm sharp.  Don't be late or you will miss the ride.
The ride takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays leaving the Hipp promptly at 6.  It is not affiliated with either Team Florida or Gainesville Cycling Club.  Ride at your own risk.
The format is the strongest riders will rotate at the front and less strong and/or less experienced riders will 'sit on' (stay in the draft).  There are a few sprints during the ride.  Riders who have not rotated for the few miles leading up to any sprint are discouraged from sprinting.  Riders with flats/mechanicals are NOT waited for, so be self sufficient.
Synchronize your watches at www.time.gov so you're not late.
See you there!
