 Kids Rule!
Young athletes competing for fun
The second annual running of Gainesville's TriHard Kids Triathlon proved even more successful than the first and saw over 140 participants! 80 young men and 65 young ladies came out to compete, with ages varying from 5-15 years old.
The event continues to grow and it is very exciting to see our youth staying active and involved in sports. The competition was fierce and FUN! Gator Cycle is proud to be a sponsor.

Sweet Dreams' Touch a Truck
Under a federal grant the City of Gainesville gives away hundreds of bicycle helmets each year at the Sweet Dreams Touch a Truck event. Gator Cycle provided two all-day staff, James and Ben, to help give away helmets and ensure proper fit.
This year an overwhelming majority of volunteers came from Shands, the local VA Hospital, the Gainesville Cycling Club, and City Staff from the Health Department and Public Works.
Great public-private partnership at work!
