I want to let everyone know what’s going on with the Rock trail.  The Rock church put up a gate to the property because people were driving all over the property, partying, and leaving beer bottles out there.  Because of the gate the home owner out there (who uses the Rock’s property as an easement) is re-opening NW 110^th Drive as an easement to his property.  He is the one who was blocked access to the western portion of the trail.

 

Even though this easement is on The Rock’s property and we have the right to use it, as a “good neighbor” we are going to try to re-route that part of the trail while this road is under construction.  We will also evaluate if it’s practical to stay off it once complete.

 

I’m going to try to find time this weekend to work on the trail to make a re-route without losing much (if any) of the sinkhole in the front.  If anyone wants to help please let me know.

 

I’m also going to put some sign out soon to state that the trail is closed when wet.
