It has come to my attention that Sunday may not be the best time to do the Racetrack route as the Gatornationals will be our competition.  Maybe next year but not this year.

 

Saturday’s ride will continue as scheduled.

Sunday’s ride will still meet the Chevron station at 9 AM for a 9:10 start,

I will substitute a route of similar distance and difficulty (meaning not difficult)

Saturday, March 10th:

South Rides

MEET:  At the 34th St. Publix near Williston Rd.

PARK: At the south east end of the parking lot, closer to 34th St. than the stores.

TIME: Meet at 9:00 AM for an 9:10 departure.

PLAN: Williston Rd. to the Trail, around Newnan’s Lake, back via 26th

 

Expect 35 miles at about 15-16 MPH on the flats

As always: helmets are mandatory, mirrors are recommended.

MEET: At the Chevron station on the corner of NW 43rd St and 53rd Ave.

TIME: Meet at 9:00 AM for a 9:10 departure.

PARK: In the Chevron station, along NW 43rd St. Start at the north end and work south.  Do not park in the slots alongside the station or along NW 53rd Ave. DO NOT use the business lots east of the Chevron on Saturdays.  Please watch where you are standing; do not block the flow of traffic going to the pumps.

PLAN: To be announced.

 

Expect about 28 miles at about 15 MPH on the flats
