This week’s ride info:

Day: Saturday, March 10, 2012 (We are going to do something a little different this week by doing a ride in Ocala. I’m told this ride takes us   past some really nice horse farms…imagine that in Ocala!)

Time: 9:00 am meeting, 9:15 am departure

Meeting Place: SW corner of SR 40 and 100^th Street there is a BP station that I am told will permit us to park there. If any problem there , there is a produce stand across the street that I am told will permit us to park.    

Route and Mileage: We will ride a 43 mile route shown on the MapMyRide.com map you can get to by going to this link:   http://www.mapmyride.com/routes/fullscreen/73414540/ (This route is brought to us courtesy of our Ocala resident and illustrious HighBee rider, Jim Bain who unfortunately is unable to make the ride this week. he swears this is a good route and he rides it often, so if there are any problems, we all know where the blame goes! Thanks Jim! )

Pace: The HighBees ride pace is about 17-18 MPH. This is a friendly, no drop ride; we re-group at all turns when needed.

Membership Requirements: Please note that HighBee rides are open to all GCC members who wish to participate. Those that are non-members may ride with the group as a guest of a sponsoring member once without being required to be a member.

Note: We’re sorry our Brevet riding buddies won’t be able to make the ride this weekend, but wish them luck!
