Use a program/app called MyRouteApp.com to build your route file (GPX). Then use the MyRiuteApp Navigation to navigate said route. I have hundreds of routes (for my motorcycle) and it works flawlessly.

MyRouteApp is free but the Navigation costs like $3.00 per month.
