It’s almost time for GCC’s next quarterly litter cleanup, next Saturday, November 9th, but still need a few volunteers. 

Now that cooler temps have finally arrived, I’m hopeful that our crew will finish quickly. The more volunteers, the sooner we finish! 

We’ll meet in the parking lot near the Main Street Publix (closest to the NW 10th Ave side)  at 0745 and start the cleanup at 0800. We will divide up into teams and pick up litter along both sides of N. Main ST, from 8th AVE to 39th AVE.

Safety vests, trash grabbers, and trash bags will be provided.  Volunteers should plan to wear close-toed shoes and bring a pair of work gloves.  A water bottle and a snack are highly recommended.

If you are available to come out and provide a valuable community service that helps to keep the roadside clean, and also promotes GCC, the GCC Adopt-A-Road crew can use your help!
