This is a scary thought that will significantly impact the amount of cyclists on the roads in our city and have a profound impact on individuals that use a bicycle as an alternative to automobiles due to financial hardship. 

As a reminder, today we have a very important city election. An election that will help determine if bike licences in Gainesville will become mandatory and if the city will continue its drive to become more bicycle friendly.

The GCC has endorsed Helen Warren for the City Commission and it is imperative we get her on the commission so she can help keep the city of Gainesville on the right track.
