ski report for Tuesday, 1/6/2026

Hi Skiers,
We're happy to report that we have a new 3" (maybe 4" at higher elevations) of powder to soften the conditions. It was getting pretty firm and slick, so this was definitely welcome! Nils and Willem have made a monumental effort to move snow to Bear Scat and the Toothacher meadow in the hopes that we can withstand the thaw headed this way for later in the week. In the meantime, we'll be leaving some powder for the backcountry fans while we groom the new trails...The Landing, Bus Stop, Bear Claw.
NOTE: Tomorrow we will be hosting a high school race that will be using the dog loop. As a result, we will be closing the dog loop to dogs for tomorrow. Please heed this request for tomorrow.
Happy Skiing!
