Hi Camels Hump Skiers,

Well there’s sugar coating the truth—we were pretty well whacked by the recent rain and snowmelt. Trails are still largely covered, but the surface is hard and icy after last night’s freeze. We did pick up a dusting of new snow as things transitioned from rain to snow yesterday evening, but it ain’t much—maybe a quarter inch. We welcome the intrepid among you to come up to ski, but would counsel less experienced skiers to hold off for today. We hope to be able to groom tomorrow (Saturday) to renovate the trails so stay tuned.
