Hi CHN Skiers,
I just got back from a quick ski up the hill. There’s a dusting of snow at the parking lot that makes skiing manageable albeit hard and fast. Ski with caution at lower elevations. However, if you head up to higher ground, you’ll find more fresh snow on the hard base. The top of Upper Crow Foot had about 3/4” of fresh snow, and I’ll wager that Gateway would have even more. As for “off piste” conditions, there’s a light crust at lower elevations but none above Crow’s Foot so that’s all good. If we get another inch or three overnight tonight we’ll be sitting pretty (except for the anticipated cold…)
Have fun!
