Ski report John Hadden 10 Jan 2015 13:50 EST

Greetings fellow CHN skiers,

I went on a little recon mission this morning. Dave had just arrived and was beginning to groom. I headed up Skunk Brook to Dead River to Stagecoach to the access to Lion’s Ridge. Then I dropped into Honey Hollow and cut across the Catamount Trail to bushwack a bit to hit the north elbow of Crow’s Foot. In general, conditions are quite thin (south face? no base…) but there’s some good skiing to be had. Lower Crow’s Foot and Dead River Run are pretty good. You will want rock skis for sure. With a little more snow, we should be getting back in business…

Cheers, John
