Hi fellow skiers,

I went for a ski up at CHN this morning, skiing a loop up Bear Scat, Big Baldy, Upper Crow Foot, across to the Catamount Trail, over Bear Claw, down Stage Coach, over Hale’s Woods, down Dead River, and back via Skunk Brook. I’d describe the conditions as very good early season conditions. There’s perhaps 6” of total snow on the ground, but only the biggest water bars along Baldy & Crow Foot are open, and there’s actually a decent firm base under the power. I highly recommend a ski!
