The Elkhorn Slough Foundation and Elkhorn Slough National Estuarine Research Reserve are seeking a talented Stewardship Specialist to join our team! The Stewardship Specialist will work in a variety of habitats, from wetlands to grasslands and woodlands, implementing habitat restoration and weed control projects.  The work will include propagation of native plants in the Reserve’s greenhouse and working with volunteers and crews on resource management projects. The successful candidate will have expertise in habitat restoration and weed control, knowledge of Monterey County flora, experience in native plant propagation, and strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to coordinate volunteer activities. Candidates should have Bachelor's or Master's degree in biology, ecology, environmental science, natural resources management or related field or a minimum of 3 years experience in land management and habitat restoration. 

First review of applicants will begin October 4.
