The Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy is soliciting Statements of Qualification for vegetation management services and related support for natural resource and/or construction projects in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area (and
beyond). Services will be performed on an as-needed basis, as directed by a Parks Conservancy Manager.
The GGNRA is one of the largest urban national parks in the world. Established in 1972, GGNRA’s 82,791 acres of land and water extend north of the Golden Gate Bridge to Tomales Bay in Marin County and south to San Mateo County, encompassing
91 miles of bay and ocean shoreline. These lands are a part of the UNESCO Golden Gate Biosphere Reserve and represent one of the nation’s largest coastal preserves. They attract 19 million visitors each year, making GGNRA one of the National Park Service’s
most highly visited units.
