The Stanislaus National Forest is seeking a few dedicated individuals to maintain our wilderness areas and share information with visitors this summer.  Attached you will find an announcement for Wilderness Ranger Volunteer positions – ideal for those with some backpacking experience who would like to work in the iconic Sierra Nevada Mountains.  The Forest will work with internship programs to provide evaluation and documentation for applicable college or university credits.
