For those who can't attend the 2016 Natural Areas Conference, you can still watch our two plenary sessions.  

Plenary Session 1: Tuesday, Oct. 18, 1:20pm-5:30pm PT
Plenary Session 2: Wednesday, Oct. 19, 1:30-5:30pm PT

The Natural Areas Association and its partners have brought experts from across the country and world to share their expertise on what concrete steps might be taken to respond and adapt to climate change in the management of natural areas, and what strategies have been successful so far.

We want every one of our members to have access to this landmark event, even if you cannot attend the conference. You can view our livestream of both plenary sessions by clicking the link below at any time during their scheduled times.

Our Plenary Speakers

Tuesday's plenary will focus on climate change adaptation, specifically adaptation practices in forest management, and new tools and analyses that can incorporate assessments of climate change exposure and sensitivity into more resilient natural areas management.

Wednesday's plenary will feature presentations on the topic Reconciling Restoration with Environmental Change. This will be a gathering of some of the world’s leading restoration ecologists and scientists, all focused on the future of managing natural areas.
