It usually flowers in November here in El Dorado County.  However, last fall I saw it starting in mid-October.  This was at about 1500 to 1800 feet in elevation.

Hi all,

I’m not very familiar with Dittrichia graveolens, but my understanding is that it flowers in late summer. At Olompali State Historic Park, I have found a few plants that I am sure are Dittrichia but it is in flower. I don’t think it is a tarweed. Anyone else experiencing early flowering of Dittrichia?
