NAISMA is hiring!

The North American Invasive Species Management Association (NAISMA), a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, announces two employment opportunities available - a full-time Program Manager and a part-time Membership, Graphic Design and Program Coordinator.
 
The full-time Program Manager will administer NAISMA's Weed Free Forage & Gravel; Online Invasive Species Manager Trainings; and Annual Conference Programs. The successful candidate will work with committees and program partners, oversee the progress of operations, and provide reports and communications as needed. The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader, will also be able to develop efficient strategies and tactics, and will have experience managing multiple programs and communications tools while producing results in a timely manner. While NAISMA’s office is in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, this position can be executed via telecommuting from anywhere if the successful candidate has demonstrated capacity to do so. This is a 1-year, non-salaried contractor opportunity, renewable depending on the hire’s performance and the organization’s fundraising efforts.

The part-time Membership, Graphic Design and Program Coordinator must have experience in managing membership; assisting with website updates and event registration, graphic design editing and new design, digital asset management, and program assistance as needed. The successful applicant will work with our Program Managers to coordinate membership renewals, communications with program participants and members, basic graphic design and website updates, and facilitate committee work as needed. The ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and will have experience coordinating multiple programs and communications tools while producing results in a timely manner. Preference is for an individual to work in our Milwaukee, Wisconsin office; however, this position can be executed via telecommuting if the successful candidate has demonstrated capacity to do so. This is a 1-year, non-salaried contractor opportunity. Time commitment will range from 15-25 hours per week. This position will be available for renewal and potentially grow to full-time depending on the successful candidate’s performance and the organization’s fundraising efforts.
