Are you an enthusiastic scientist (at least one year postdoc experience)  with strong modelling and analytical skills who wants to make a difference in a not-for-profit Intergovernmental Organisation?  We are looking for a high performer with a strong reputation in invasive species, weeds or agriculture pests and diseases willing to work in a close-knit team and deliver unique and impactful research to further fulfil CABI’s mission. Based in the science centre in Egham you will apply your analytical skills to cutting-edge projects aiming to forecast the risk of major weeds, pests and diseases in the agriculture and environment with special focus on improving livelihoods in low and middle income countries. An example of these projects are: PRISE in sub-Saharan Africa, the Agritech projects in China to forecast the efficacy of biopesticides to control locusts and the Innovate UK project to forecast the risk and biopesticide efficacy of coffee berry borer in Colombia.

For reference CABI is an International Organisation and not directly affected by Brexit!!!
