The City of Oakland, Public Works Department, Environmental Service Division has an opening for a current college or graduate student for a part-time Student Trainee position. Typical
assignments are supporting our volunteer program that assists volunteers cleaning, greening, and beautifying Oakland, see

The position will also support Solid Waste and Recycling, Energy Conservation, Environmental Protection and Compliance, and Sustainability. The wage for the position is between $13.78-$26.05/hour. The Student Trainee position is limited to 960 hours per fiscal
year (July 1- June 30). The schedule is flexible and can include occasional night and weekend work. We are looking for someone to work part-time throughout most of the year; typically averaging 15-20 hours per week. For complete job information and application
