There has been some discussion on comets-ml about the elongated
appearance of the coma of 220P/McNaught. David Swan obtained the
attached image on June 26.4 using iTelescope T26, (a 0.5m, f/3
delta-Rho). I have measured astrometry using David's images and some
later ones taken this morning (June 27.4) by Martin Mobberley using T24
(a 0.6m, f/6.5 CDK). The astrometry doesn't show any significant
tailward bias. The residuals are:
