Landline speakerphone with audio input

Hi,
I have a client using Grid 3 on his laptop for text to speech when making phone calls with his landline phone. Because the audio output first goes is output through the laptop speakers, then received through the speakerphone microphone, there is a loss in quality which makes the speech output difficult to understand for the person on the other end.
I’m wondering if there is a way to hard wire the audio from his device to the speakerphone. Does anyone know of a landline speaker phone with a 3.5mm audio input (or perhaps a 2.5mm headset input can be used) so that the speech output from his laptop can be connected directly to the phone while still allowing him to hear the returning connection through the speaker?
Thanks,
